Great success of the IST ENABLE project

EU FP6 ENABLE project got highly appreciated in the final EC final review. |

About 20 ENABLE researchers from 9 institutions in 6 countries participated in the final review meeting during February 27-28, 2008 and witnessed the exciting moment. Over the 26 months, the whole IST ENABLE team has significantly contributed to the research and standardization communities, and received high appreciation from the EC officer and reviewers: we published more than 30 papers published in referred conference proceedings and journals, 6 RFCs, more than 40 Internet drafts and many approved 3GPP and IEEE standardization documents, as well as working prototype implementations of all key components of the ENABLE architecture which have also been successfully demonstrated in the review meeting, including the Mobile IPv6 firewall traversal and QoS solutions implemented by the University of Göttingen team. Four workshops were organized within the ENABLE sponsorship, including the ACM/IEEE MobiArch 2006-2007 chaired by Prof. Xiaoming Fu. University presss news can be found here. |
