Three international reputed researchers are visiting the Computer Networks group and giving talks at the Goettingen Computer Science Colloquium series: 2008-05-26, 16:15-18:00: Prof. Jorg Liebeherr (U. Toronto, Canada, IEEE Fellow, former Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Network. A key contributor to packet scheduling and overlay networking). 2008-06-12, 10:15-12:00: Dr. K. K. Ramakrishnan (AT&T Labs, USA, IEEE Fellow and AT&T Fellow, a key contributor of TCP congestion control including ECN, and traffic management). 2008-06-30, 17:15-19:00: Prof. Henning Schulzrinne (Columbia U., USA, IEEE Fellow, key designer of protocols for multimedia communications, including RTP, RTSP and SIP). 2008-07-17, 17:15-19:00: Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Effelsberg (Uni Mannheim, Germany, renowned researcher on multimedia communications, video compression, wireless senor networks and location-based services).
