IPT - Internet Protocol Testing: MethodolodyStaff: Xiaoming Fu, Fabian MeyerProject Partners: ETSI, Nokia, Ericsson, Motorola, FOKUS, IRISA, Consulintel, PQM Consultants, Testing Technologies, and Farbum Scotus Sponsors(s): ETSI and EC/eEurope Initiative ETSI project - Internet Protocol Testing: The project develops the framework and specifications for conformance and interoperability testing of IPv6 protocols, including general Internet protocol testing methodoloy, and test specifications for IPv6 core, security, mobility and v4/6 transition protocols. The complexity of implementing next generation Internet protocol (IPv6) family and the relative openness of IETF standards call for a wide-ranging and effective testing of IPv6 products, in order to ensure the deployment, interoperability, security and reliability of the IPv6 infrastructure. In this project we are developing the framework and specifications for conformance and interoperability testing of IPv6 protocols, including general Internet protocol testing methodoloy, and test specifications for IPv6 core, security, mobility and v4/6 transition protocols. This is part of IPv6 Interoperability Testing - an eEurope project, sponsored by EC/EFTA (eEurope 2005) and ETSI. We have contributed to the following ETSI standards:
