The Computer Networks group partners with OPNET Technologies, Inc. for research on network technologies.

The Computer Networks Group applies OPNET Modeler in the protocol design, analysis and evaluation, particularly on IPv6 and advanced mobility mechanisms.

OPNET Modeler is the industry's leading environment for network modeling and simulation, allowing one to design and study communication networks, devices, protocols, and applications with unmatched flexibility and scalability. Modeler is used by the world's most prestigious technology organizations to accelerate the R&D process.
