Description
IETF work is on the way to develop the first peer-to-peer internet standard, with the goal to enable self-forming, decentralized SIP networks.
This thesis evaluates this new technology, P2PSIP, and aims for an implementation of one proposal for the P2PSIP Peer Protocol - the protocol to create and maintain a P2PSIP overlay network and share information among the participating nodes. Full particulars are given shortly.
